May 22, Fineko/abc.az. The carpet production in Azerbaijan totaled 28,500 sq m of carpets and carpet products for Jan-Apr 2026 (28.5-fold more versus the 2025 same term), ABC.AZ informs with reference to the State Statistics Committee.

As of May 1, 2026, the stocks of finished products in the warehouses of industrial enterprises amounted to 5,000 sq m.

The country exported carpets and other woven floor coverings worth $66,590 to foreign markets and imported such products for $6.425 million.
According to statistical data for Jan-Mar 2026, Azerbaijan imported carpets mainly from Turkey, Iran and China.
