Iran is main supplier of butter to Azerbaijan

May 21, Fineko/abc.az. Imports from Iran, the main supplier of butter to Azerbaijan, increased from 2,248 tons up to 2,733 tons (a rise of 21.6%).

ABC.AZ reports that at the same time, the average price of the product per ton fell from $6,174 to $5,385 (a drop of 12.8%).

Imports from Belarus grew from 386 up to 983 tons, and the average price declined by 28.2% from $7,849 to $5,636.

Imports from New Zealand fell by 71.9% from 1,497 tons to 421 tons. Against this background, the average price per ton increased from $7,330 to $8,502 and recorded a rise of 16%. Imports from Ukraine grew by 64.3% from 279 up to 459 tons, and the price per ton fell from $8,504 to $6,604.

Imports from Turkey decreased by 80.1% from 65 to 13 tons. Nevertheless, the average price per ton grew from $7,712 up to $10,895. While the price per ton of imported product from Finland increased from $8,719 up to $9,282, imports from Germany decreased from $9,102 to $6,882.
