May 20, Fineko/abc.az. The bus manufacvture in Azerbaijan reached 153 buses for Jan-Apr 2026 (4.8-fold more versus the 2025 same term), ABC.AZ informs, referring to the State Statistics Committee.

As a result, as of May 1, 2026, a stock of finished products in the amount of 34 buses was formed.

In the first 4 months of 2026, the country produced machinery and equipment, cars, trailers and semi-trailers for 168.4 million manats. Compared with Jan-Apr 2025, manufacture of machinery and equipment decreased by 74.5%, while the production of cars, trailers and semi-trailers observed growth by 2.8 times.

In addition, 1,546 automobiles were produced in the country for Jan-Apr 2026 (278 cars, or 15.2% less against Jan-Apr 2025). As a result, as of May 1, 2026, the stock of 375 finished products has been formed.

Azerbaijan manufactured 191 tractors (4% less versus Jan-Apr 2025). As of May 1, 2026, the stock of finished products reached six tractors.

Also, for Jan-Apr 2026, 286 trucks were made in the country (8.7-fold more than a year earlier). As of May 1, 2026, the stock of finished products totaled 23 trucks.
