May 20, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Apr 2026, the turnover of public catering in Azerbaijan amounted to 864.9 million manats.

ABC.AZ informs that according to the State Statistics Committee, this indicator grew in real terms by 5.8% against the 2025 same term.

According to calculations, an average of AZN 7.208 million was spent daily in cafés and restaurants this year. In January–April 2025, this figure stood at AZN 6.367 million. Thus, in 2026, the average daily spending of restaurant visitors increased by AZN 841,000 compared to the same period of the previous year.

In the private sector, 50.1% of the catering turnover accounted for legal entities and 49.9% for individuals engaged in entrepreneurial activity in this sphere. The turnover of legal entities increased by 4.1% (against Jan-Apr 2025) and reached 430.6 million manats.
