May 20, Fineko/abc.az. Following Russian-Chinese talks, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping adopted a Declaration on the formation of a multipolar world and a new type of international relations.
ABC.AZ reports that the leaders also signed a Joint Statement on further strengthening comprehensive partnership and strategic cooperation, as well as deepening relations of good neighborliness, friendship and cooperation. According to Ushakov, this is a very massive program document that defines the main ways of developing the entire complex of multifaceted bilateral relations between the Russian Federation and China, an unambiguous common vision of pressing issues on the international agenda and the main formats of interaction in world affairs.
Xi Jinping stressed that Russia and China should remain a strategic stronghold for each other.
