May 19, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Apr 2026, Azerbaijan imported 170,700 tons of fruits and vegetables for $141.1 million (Jan-Apr 2025 - 198,800 tons of products for $142.7 million), ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Customs Committee.

Thus, imports declined by 28,100 tons (14.1%) in quantitative terms and by $1.6 million (1.1%) in value.

The average price of 1 kg of fruits and vegetables imported this year was $0.8 (1.4 manats), which is $0.1 (about 20 gapiks) higher versus Jan-Apr 2025 (average price per kg - $0.7 (1.2 manats)).

Along with fruits and vegetables, imported meat has also increased in price this year - by 17.1%, and fertilizers - by 35.7%.
