May 19, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Apr 2026, 404 vehicles powered only by electric motors (electric vehicles) were delivered to Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the State Customs Committee, imports of electric vehicles decreased by 205 cars (33.7%) compared with Jan-Apr 2025. $10.693 million was spent on the import of this number of electric vehicles ($9.718 million (46.8%) less year-on-year).

In the first 4 months of 2025, our country imported 609 electric vehicles for $20.411 million.

The average unit price of electric vehicles imported into Azerbaijan this year was $26,469 (44,997 manats). For Jan-Apr 2025, the price was $33,516 (56,977 manats). That is, the average import price of electric vehicles fell by $7.47 (11,980 manats) or by 21%.

Over Jan-Apr 2026, Azerbaijan imported 21,120 cars for totally $443.619 million.
