May 18, Fineko/abc.az. In April of this year, Azerbaijan ranked 82nd in terms of the average speed of fixed broadband Internet among 154 countries of the world with speed of 91.57 Mbit/s, declining by 1 position compared to the previous month.

ABC.AZ informs, referring to the Speedtest Global Index, that Singapore took the 1st place in terms of fixed Internet speed and Turkmenistan took the last place.

In terms of mobile Internet speed, Azerbaijan improved its position by 2 points in April compared to March and ranked 48th among 104 countries with a speed of 94.64 Mbit/s.

The UAE became the leader in mobile Internet, and Eritrea took the last place.
