UK prepares a law for rapprochement with EU

May 13, Fineko/abc.az. British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has announced plans to introduce a bill aimed at strengthening relations with the European Union and restoring economic ties.

ABC.AZ reports that the initiative involves closer coordination of regulations in individual industries and simplification of the implementation of agreements with the EU, while not returning the UK to the single market or the customs union. Parliament will retain control over European standards and new treaties.

The government considers this step as part of a strategy for economic growth and restarting relations with Europe after Brexit.
