May 7, Fineko/abc.az. To date, 112,985 new-generation cash registers have been installed in the country.

ABC.AZ informs that this is stated in the statistical indicators of the State Tax Service. Over Jan-Apr 2026, turnover registered through the new-generation cash registers reached nearly 9.452 billion manats (14.5% more against Jan-Apr 2025).

For comparison, for Jan-Apr 2025, turnover registered through cash registers amounted to 8.246 billion manats (a rise of 805.8 million manats, or 10.8%, compared with Jan-Apr 2024).

"The use of new-generation cash registers made it possible to make calculations more transparent, prevent illicit trafficking in goods and ensure control over turnover," the report says.
