May 5, Fineko/abc.az. Baku Metro CJSC served 20,510,029 passengers in April 2026.

ABC.AZ reports, referring to Baku Metro, that this figure is 0.11% more versus April 2025.

Metro station Koroglu became the leader in April. 1,824,773 passengers used it during the month.

Of the three days with the largest passenger traffic in the first 4 months of this year, two occurred in April. Thus, on April 3, 819,536 passengers were transported, on February 18 - 818,376 passengers and on April 2 - 802,283 passengers.

In addition, payments with the use of NFC technology continue to grow. In April, 8,057,376 people used this method, which makes up 40.3% of the overall number of paying passengers.

The number of users of service Accessible Metro also increased last month - 236 applications were completed (35.6% more versus April 2025).
