May 4, Fineko/abc.az. Israel's Rafael Advanced Defense Systems has reportedly reached an agreement to acquire Volkswagen’s (VW) Osnabrück plant in Germany.

ABC.AZ informs that the Israeli defense technology company  company is considering to shoft the enterprise from car production to production of components of air defense and missile defense systems, including rocket engines.

The deal reflects Germany's growing interest in the defense industry amid rising military spending. For defense companies, such partnerships provide access to a well-developed industrial base and human resources, allowing them to scale production.
