April 23, Fineko/abc.az. Today, representatives of the European Commission confirmed the decision to stop financing the Venice Biennale for €2 million after inviting Russian participants.

ABC.AZ informs that according to EC representative Tom Rainier, Brussels has sent relevant letters to the Italian government and the organizers of the exhibition, declaring political condemnation of the decision on the Russian pavilion.

The grant is designed for the next 3 years, and the European Commission intends to cancel or suspend it.
