April 20, Fineko/abc.az. As of January 1, 2026, 56,510 vehicles were registered in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

ABC.AZ informs that according to the Nakhchivan State Statistics Committee, the figure is 10.3% more than on January 1, 2025.

47,086 vehicles in the NAR are automobiles (11.5% more than a year ago).

In addition, 7,384 trucks, 1,031 buses, 519 special-purpose vehicles and ambulances, as well as 490 pickups and vans were registered in Nakhchivan.

The number of cars with service life of up to 2 years in the NAR grew from 1,046 up to 2,254, the number of automobiles with hybrid engines increased from 797 up to 2,440, and the number of cars with electric motors grew from 220.
