April 17, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan Railways (ADY) plans to purchase 20 trains by 2030.

ABC.AZ informs that  ADY Passenger Transportation Department’s head Azer Farajev said that work in this direction has already begun, including the procurement process.

According to Farajev, the production of trains takes about two years, so their commissioning is planned until 2030.

He added that ADY is carrying out work on electrification and development of "green transport": it is planned to conduct transportation on electrified trains using "green energy".
