April 17, Fineko/abc.az. iPhone shipments in China increased by 20% in the first quarter, the best result among major manufacturers, despite an overall 4% decline in the market due to higher chip prices and supply disruptions (data from Counterpoint Research).

ABC.AZ reports that the company took the 2nd place with a 19% share, which was facilitated by high demand for the iPhone 17 series, discounts and government support. Analysts believe that due to its premium segment and strong supply chain, Apple is better able to cope with rising costs than its competitors and can increase market share.

Huawei remains the leader (20%, +2%), Vivo also showed growth (+2%). At the same time, Xiaomi dropped by 35% and dropped to 6th place.

At the same time, the premium segment remains stable: demand is supported by new technologies - improved cameras, folding devices and AI functions, despite the general pressure on the market.
