April 17, Fineko/abc.az. Nearly 4 million French people are sometimes deprived of the opportunity to buy basic hygiene products, preferring to spend limited funds on food.

ABC.AZ informs, referring to newspaper Figaro, based on research data from the French Institute of Public Opinion.

Half of the country's residents are worried about their spending, and 42% of respondents have already faced a choice between hygiene products and food, Figaro points out.

According to the study, 43% of the survey participants reduced the cost of hygiene products due to shortage of funds. In single-parent families, this level has reached 60%, the paper emphasizes.
