April 16, Fineko/abc.az. Yesterday, White House National Security Adviser Stephen Miller said on Fox News that the U.S. could continue to blockade Iranian-linked vessels "almost indefinitely" if necessary.

ABC.AZ informs that he stressed that President Donald Trump strives for peace and stability, but will not allow Iran to acquire nuclear weapons and is ready for harsh measures.

According to Miller, the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz is causing serious damage to Iran's economy and may persist indefinitely. He also noted that the U.S. military presence in the region could be strengthened.
