April 16, Fineko/abc.az. In Japan, car drivers are urged to save fuel and switch to public transport.
ABC.AZ reports that there will be no legislative or regulatory initiatives that oblige people to do this, but the Japanese authorities will actively educate in this direction.
"If you use eco-driving, for example, you can save a lot of fuel. It is very profitable," the authorities noted.
In Japan, energy-efficient driving means, in particular, avoiding sudden acceleration and prolonged idling. Hybrid engine models, which make up the majority of cars on the roads of Japanese cities, also have a special eco-driving mode that significantly reduces fuel consumption by adjusting the accelerator pedal response and reducing the power of the air conditioner."
