April 14, Fineko/abc.az. In the 1st quarter of this year, 113,041 ASAN Imza e-signature certificates were issued in Azerbaijan (1.1% more versus Q1 of 2025), ABC.AZ informs, referring to the State Tax Service.

ASAN Imza was issued for 72,735 applications (3.6% less than last year).

There are three types of ASAN Imza e-signature certificates: e-signature certificates for individuals (citizens), legal entities and individuals engaged in business activities, and government employees. E-signature certificates for individuals are intended for personal use. E-signatures intended for legal entities, individuals engaged in entrepreneurial activities, as well as government employees, provide the authority to represent a commercial or government organization and act on its behalf.

The certificates are valid for 3 years.
