ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that compared with January 2025, the cost of imports grew by 5% and the volume by 5%.
Azerbaijan purchased 381 tons of dried beans from Uzbekistan for $472,000 (+2.2-fold in volume, +94% in value against 2025), 44 tons from Kyrgyzstan for $65,000 (no supplies a year earlier), 1 ton from Brazil for $1,570 (-2% by volume, -3% by value), from Argentina - 1 ton for $1,250 (no supplies a year earlier), from Egypt - 0.5 tons for $730.
Azerbaijan resumed supplies from Argentina after a break of 1 year and 7 months.
