April 7, Fineko/abc.az. In the 1st quarter of this year, Baku International Sea Trade Port LLC, part of the Azerbaijan Railways (ADY), handled 423,124 tons of bulk cargo (urea, sulfur).

ABC.AZ reports that according to ADY, the figure is nearly 46% more against Jan-Mar 2025.

In March, transshipment totaled 162,000 tons of bulk cargo (94% higher than in March 2025 and is a monthly record).

In addition, 78 ship arrivals were recorded at the general cargo terminal of the Baku port in March, which also became a record figure.
