April 7, Fineko/abc.az. This January, Azerbaijan imported 8,222 tons of fertilizers (except organic ones) for $5.13 million (1% more versus January 2025 in value terms and 37% less in quantity), ABC.AZ informs with reference to the State Statistics Committee.
Our country imported 5,375 tons of products from Russia (-56%) for $2.41 million (31% less year-on-year), 419 tons (+3.5 times) from Turkey for $1.33 million (+40%), 1,201 tons from China (no supplies in January 2025) for $684,000, 416.5 tons (no supplies) from Poland for $250,000, 380 tons (+16-fold) from Georgia for $108,000 (+22-fold).
85% of 172,000 tons of fertilizers imported by Azerbaijan in 2025 was carried out from Russia.
