November 19, Fineko/abc.az. The population of Azerbaijan continues growing.

The State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan reports that as of 1 October the number of citizens amounted to 9,959,245 people.

"The population density per square meter was 115 people. 52.9% of the population lives in the capital and 47.1% in the villages," the Committee said.
