Turnover through new-generation cash registers in Azerbaijan exceeds 7 bn manats

April 6, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Mar 2026, the turnover of trade and services facilities in Azerbaijan with the use of new-generation cash registers reached 7.049 billion manats.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Tax Service that compared with Jan-Mar 2025, this figure grew by 14.8%.

As of April 1, 2026, 112,219 new-generation cash registers were installed in the country.

The Tax Service noted that the use of such devices helps increase the transparency of calculations, prevent illegal trafficking in goods and strengthen control over trade.
