Azerbaijan’s import of roses from Netherlands grew more than 5-fold

April 3, Fineko/abc.az. In January 2026, Azerbaijan imported 480,000 roses for $652,000 from abroad.

In monetary terms, the figure is 37% and  in quantitative terms – 26% less versus January 2025, ABC.AZ informs with reference to the State Statistics Committee.

Azerbaijan exported 366,000 roses from Ecuador (-24%) for $525,000 (-38%), 45,000 roses (+3-fold) for $56,000 (+2.6-fold) from Kenya, and 22,000 roses (-69%) from Colombia for $24,400 (-75%), from China — 4,400 roses  (-36%) for $17,700 (+82%), from the Netherlands - 6,300 roses (+5.3-fold) for $7,100 (+4-fold).

65% of 9.27 million rose imports in Azerbaijan in 2025 were carried out from Ecuador.
