April 3, Fineko/abc.az. Improvement of the legislative framework is envisaged in Azerbaijan in the direction of stimulating the turnover of eco-friendly and safe vehicles.

ABC.AZ informs that in this context, it is planned to prepare proposals for amendments to regulatory legal acts applied in the field of energy.

The goal is to eliminate regulatory and administrative restrictions and create a more favorable environment for the use of electric vehicles.

At the same time, steps are being taken to develop the charging infrastructure. Thus, it provides for the development of technical regulations defining the requirements for electric chargers and software used in this field, and the formation of appropriate standards.

In addition, a Draft Regulation on the information system "Unified Electric Charging Service Platform" will be developed.

It is also planned to develop a regulatory legal act defining the rules for the provision of electric charging services.

One of the other directions is the recycling of vehicles. To increase the attractiveness in this area, the current situation will be analyzed, and appropriate measures will be taken to improve legislation.

Project documentation should be prepared by the relevant authorities by the end of this year.
