March 31, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Feb 2026, the value of trade turnover between Azerbaijan and the countries of the European Union reached $2.804 billion.
ABC.AZ informs that for the past 2 months, Azerbaijan's largest trade turnover was registered with Italy, Romania, Bulgaria, Portugal and the Czech Republic.
Thus, the value of trade turnover with Italy amounted to $1.813 billion, including exports for $1.732 billion and imports for 81.292 million. Trade turnover in this direction decreased by 20.4%, including exports by 21.4% and imports grew by 10.5%.
The value of trade turnover with Romania totaled $151.96 million, including exports for $144.35 million and imports for $7.61 million. Trade turnover in this direction declined by 15.8%, including exports by 13.6% and imports by 44.8%.
The value of trade turnover with Bulgaria reached $122.362 million, incluidng exports for $119.256 million and imports for $3.106 million. Trade turnover in this direction dropped by 8.7%, including exports by 7.7% and imports by 35.8%.
The value of trade turnover with Portugal totaled $114.142 million, including exports for $112.367 million and imports for $1.775 million. Trade turnover in this direction grew by 2.3%, including exports by 3% and imports declined by 27.1%.
The value of trade turnover with the Czech Republic amounted to $92.77 million, including exports for $84.996 million and imports for $7.81 million. Trade turnover in this direction lowered by 60.8%, including exports by 62.1% and imports by 31.9%.
