March 19, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Feb 2026, Azerbaijan imported 3,556 tons of butter and other milk fats for $22.99 million.

ABC.AZ reports, referring to the State Customs Committee, imports decreased by $13.85 million (37.6%) in value and by 1,782 tons (33.4%) in quantity versus the 2025 same term.

For Jan-Feb 2025, the country imported 5,338 tons of butter for $36.84 million.

Over the past 2 months of 2026, butter made up 0.88% of Azerbaijan's overall imports (Jan-Feb 2025 - 0.89%).

The average import price of butter was $6.47 (11 manats) per kg compared with $6.90 (11.73 manats) a year earlier. Thus, the price declined by $0.43 (0.73 manats), or by 6.2%.
