Turkey to construct a new customs checkpoint on border with Bulgaria

March 17, Fineko/abc.az. Turkey is planning to open a new checkpoint north of Kapikule to accelerate cargo traffic to the EU, ABC.AZ informs, quoting Trade Minister Omer Bolat.

The project is aimed at reducing queues at the existing crossings - Kapikula, Khamzabeyli and Ipsala, where there is currently a high workload. The new point will help redistribute traffic flows and speed up the delivery of goods to Europe.

The terms of realization and volume of investments have not yet been disclosed.
