February 27, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan is likely to carry out the transition to public services and provision of all public services through platforms Mygov and Mygov Biznes (portal and mobile applications).

ABC.AZ informs that this is reflected in the Action Plan for Accelerating Digital Development for 2026-2028, approved today by President Ilham Aliyev.

In addition, the document stipulates the introduction of a "unified data management" model, the formation of legal regulation in the field of venture financing and crowdfunding, simplification of residency conditions in technoparks and support for local innovative products in the public procurement system, the introduction of a "digital traveler" visa regime to attract global talents, the liberalization of migration procedures, and advanced training in ICT, artificial intelligence and information security, complete migration of government information resources and systems to the Government Cloud, digitalization of financial services, as well as a comprehensive update of the regulatory framework in the areas of e-commerce and information security.

The document places special emphasis on expanding cooperation between the public and private sectors to accelerate the introduction of modern technologies, strengthen academic and scientific research, and systematically support the startup ecosystem and innovation environment.

Consistent implementation of the Plan is expected to significantly strengthen Azerbaijan's position in international rankings, increase the share of the ICT sector in the structure of non-oil/gas GDP over the next 10 years, increase annual exports of digital products and services, bring the share of proactive public services to 50% and accelerate country's transition to an innovative and competitive economic model.
