February 25, Fineko/abc.az. Samsung plans to raise the cost of its budget and mid-range smartphones in India. Starting today, the new prices apply to Galaxy A56, Galaxy A36 and Galaxy F17 5G.
ABC.AZ informs that the increase amounted to 1,000-2,000 rupees - $11-22. The Galaxy A56 and A36 versions in the 12/256 GB configuration have been added the most.
The basic Galaxy A56 (8/256) currently costs 45,000 rupees ($495) in India. The price of the top version is 49,000 rupees ($540). The cost of Galaxy A36 in the same configurations is $400 and $445. The price of Galaxy F17 5G ranges from $180 to $220.
Prices in other markets are also likely to be adjusted. The increase in cost, according to insiders, is linked with rising prices for memory chips.
