February 24, Fineko/abc.az. Apple will move part of the production of Mac mini desktop computers from Asia to the U.S. The new production process is to be launched by the end of the year at the Houston facility.

ABC.AZ informs, referring to Reuters, that the move was part of a strategy to expand investments in the U.S., including previously announced investments of $600 billion over four years.

The assembly will be carried out at the same factory where servers for artificial intelligence systems are already being manufactured, and a training center for personnel training will also be opened, Bloomberg notes. The decision was made amid the pressure from the U.S. authorities, including the threat of duties on foreign products from Donald Trump.
