Azerbaijan imported 1,907 tons of oil from abroad for January

February 24, Fineko/abc.az. This January, Azerbaijan imported 1,907 tons of butter and other milk oils from foreign countries for $12.626 million (693 tons, or 26.7% less in volume and $5.48 million, or 30.3%, less in value versus January 2025), ABC.AZ informs with reference to the State Customs Committee.

Butter and other oils made from milk made up 1% of Azerbaijan's overall imports.

Last month, Azerbaijan conducted trade operations with foreign countries for $3.538 billion (30.5% less than a year ago).

$2.236 billion accounted for exports and $1.302 billion for imports (a drop of 26.4% was reported on exports and by 36.5% on imports).

In the end, foreign trade surplus reached $934 million (also 5.3% less than a year ago).
