February 20, Fineko/abc.az. Dario Amodei, CEO of Anthropic, said that India plays a key role in development of artificial intelligence and can become a world leader in this field.

ABC.AZ informs that according to Amodei, AI in the coming years will be able to surpass human cognitive abilities in many tasks, creating both new opportunities and serious risks, including job losses and security threats.

Amodei stated that Anthropic is interested in cooperating with India in the field of security and economic AI research, noting that technology can significantly accelerate the country's growth. He added that if developed economies can grow by 10% per year thanks to AI, then India is theoretically able to achieve growth rates of 20-25% due to its high technological potential.

Anthropic is the creator of Claude model, one of the leading modern AI models.
