February 6, Fineko/abc.az. Large computer hardware manufacturers, including HP, Dell, Acer and Asus, are exploring the possibility of purchasing memory chips from Chinese companies amid global shortages.
ABC.AZ informs that according to Nikkei Asia, HP and Dell are already testing DRAM from Chinese manufacturer ChangXin Memory Technologies and may begin purchases in the 2nd half of 2026 if the shortage persists. China is seen as a potential alternative to traditional suppliers focused on AI companies.
