Azerbaijan earned $3.5 million from quince exports for Jan-Nov 2025

January 28, Fineko/abc.az. Over the first 11 months of 2025, Azerbaijan exported 3,552 tons of quince for $3.5 million.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that compared with Jan-Nov 2024, exports grew by 72% in value and by 63% in quantitative terms.

Azerbaijan delivered 2,600 tons of quince for $2.6 million (34% more than the year before; height - 24%), Georgia - 495 tons for $312 million (a rise of 24-fold), in Germany - 166 tons for $193 million (no supplies in 2024), Saudi Arabia - 87 tons for $121 million (rise of value - 7-fold; volume - 62-fold), Romania - 55.5 tons for $79,400.

In 2025, for the first time in the last 14 years (note: official statistics on foreign trade in the public domain relate to the period up to 2011), quince was supplied to Moldova - 40 tons for $53,000, as well as to Romania.

In 2024, 97% of the 2,903 tons of quince exported from Azerbaijan accounted for Russia.
