January 13, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Oct 2025, Azerbaijan exported 2.379 billion cigarettes for $37.2 million (34% more in value terms and 35% more in quantity versus the 2024 same term), ABC.AZ reports with reference to thre State Statistics Committee.

Azerbaijan sold 1.932 billion cigarettes to Georgia for $33 million (41% more than in the previous year, +30% in quantity), 252 million cigarettes to Russia for $2.6 million (+5-fold on amount, +4.6-fold in quantity), 55 million cigarettes to Oman for $412,000 (+1.5% on amount, +1.3% in quantity), 33 million cigarettes for $337,000 to Tajikistan (no deliveries a year earlier), 32 million cigarettes for $320,000 to the UAE (+4-fold on amount, +3-fold on the number).

Last year, for the first time in the last 14 years (according to official foreign trade statistics, which were publicly available until 2011), 27.6 tons were delivered to Uzbekistan for $214,200.
