January 8, Fineko/abc.az. The air cargo transportation in the world increased by 5.5% year-on-year in November, ABC.AZ was informed at IATA.

International shipments increased by 6.9%. The largest growth was recorded in Africa (+15.6%) and the Asia-Pacific region (+10.3%), while positive dynamics were also noted in Europe (+5.8%) and the Middle East (+7.4%). The decline was observed in North and Latin America.

IATA attributes the growth to increased demand for fast delivery before the holiday season and the stability of the global market in the 4th quarter, which creates positive expectations for early 2026.
