January 8, Fineko/abc.az. The export of snail products to the European Union market has begun.

ABC.AZ informs that as a result of control and evaluation measures conducted by the Food Safety Agency of Azerbaijan, a snail production company operating in Shorsulu village of Salyan district, owned by Azarifrog LLC, was registered for export to the EU.

Based on the data provided by the agency, data on export of company's products are included in the corresponding list on EU electronic platform TRACES (Trade Control and Expert System).

Thus, this company became the first manufacturing company in our country to gain access to the EU market in the field of snail production. The permission was previously obtained to export leather, caviar and frog leg products to Europe.
