December 19, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan imported 9,708 tons of cattle meat (fresh or chilled, frozen) for $39.8 million forJan-Oct 2025 (2% more in value terms and 0.3% less in quantitative terms versus Jan-Oct 2024), ABC.AZ informs with reference to the State Statistics Committee.
Azerbaijan exported 5,125 tons (-10%) for $23.2 million from Ukraine (7% less than a year earlier), 2,482 tons (+22%) for $7.7 million (+27%) from Brazil, and 1,52 tons (+3%) from Belarus for $4.7 million (+18%),920 tons (+33%) from India for $3 million (+43%), 78.1 tons (-48%) from Russia for $521,000 (-43%).
This year, for the first time in the last 14 years, deliveries from Canada were made (0.03 tons for $600) (note: official publicly available statistics on foreign trade relate to the period up to 2011).
In 2024, 59% of the 12,000 tons of beef imported by Azerbaijan accounted for beef import from Ukraine.
