November 27, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Sept 2025, Azerbaijan exported 13,486 tons of hazelnuts for $100.4 million (38% more versus the 2024 same term in value terms and 13% more in quantity), ABC.AZ reports, referring to the State Statistics Committee.

Azerbaijan exported 6 510 tons (-15%) to Russia for $44.1 million (0.5% less than in the previous year), 2,145 tons (+62%) to Germany for $18.3 million (+82 %), 1,366 tons (+63%) to Italy for $12 million (+2-fold), 1,243 tons (+4-fold) to Turkey for $9.3 million (+4-fold), 560 tons (+3-fold) to Switzerland for $4.5 million (+4-fold).

This year, for the first time in the last 14 years (official statistics on foreign trade are publicly available for the period up to 2011), supplies to Syria (46 tons for $472,400) were carried out.
