November 25, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Sept 2025, Azerbaijan imported 5,702 tons of persimmons (fresh or dried) for $9.1 million (14% less versus the 2024 same period in value terms and 22% less in quantity), ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Commitee.

Our country imported 4,049 tons (-20%) of products from Iran for $4.7 million (10% less than a year earlier), 1,103 tons (-20%) from Tunisia for $2.1 million (-18%), 124 tons from Israel (+62%) for $908,000 (+62%), from Palestine - 98 tons (+5 times) for $727,000 (+5.6 times), from Algeria - 188 tons (-72%) of products for $349,000 (-71%).

This year, for the first time in the last 14 years, deliveries from India were made (0.04 tons for $300).
