November 25, Fineko/abc.az. In the first 9 months of 2025, imports of car tires decreased in volume and slightly increased in value against Jan-Sept 2024.

ABC.AZ reports that Azerbaijan was delivered 1 million tires for $32.5 million in the first 3 quarters.

The indicator means a 4.5% decrease in volume compared with the 2024 same term and near stability in value. In 2025, China accounted for the majority of tire imports to Azerbaijan. Its share is 685,000 ties for $18.7 million. China leads both in terms of numbers and the apparent difference.

The Republic of Korea is in 2nd place with 59,600 tires for $3.05 million. Turkey closes Top 3: 58,500 tires for $2.33 million. Other major suppliers include Thailand (70,700 tires), Japan (16,800 tires), Russia (39,700 tires), Belarus (22,400 tires), Taiwan (12,000 tires), the Czech Republic (2,600 tires) and Iran (18,000 tires).
