November 25, Fineko/abc.az. Cocoa futures continue to decline following reports of high shipments of crops from Côte d'Ivoire, the world's leading producer country.
ABC.AZ informs that during trading in New York, the most liquid contract fell by 4.1%, falling to $4,878 per ton, the lowest level since February 2024.
Cocoa flows to Ivory Coast's export ports have exceeded 100,000 tons for the third week in a row, Bloomberg points out.
According to Expana representative Andrew Moriarty, such volumes are generally in line with market expectations. He predicts that shipments will decrease slightly in the coming weeks and will approach last season's level in the first quarter of next year.
