Tobacco production drops, but cigarette production continues rising

November 17, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaiaj produced 14.09 billion cigarettes and cigars for Jan-Oct 2025, ABC.AZ informs, referring to the State Statistics Committee.

This indicator grew by 13.4% versus the 2024 same term. As of 1 November 2025, stocks of finished products amount to 1.003 billion units.

For the reported term, the country produced 1,543.6 tons of tobacco (61.7% less against Jan-Oct 2024. As of 1 November 2025, the stock of finished products totaled 486.9 tons.
