October 30, Fineko/abc.az. A batch of apples with total weight of 163.4 tons, owned by Fueqo LLC and Ilkin Hasanov Jahan oglu, an individual, did not pass quality control before export to Turkey.

ABC.AZ informs, referring to the Food Safety Agency of Azerbaijan, that analysis of product samples showed that the content of pesticides in them exceeds the permissible standards.

As a result, shipments of apples did not receive an export permit, as they do not meet Turkey's import requirements, as well as the standards for the content of pesticides in Azerbaijan. It was decided to dispose of the batch of apples.
