October 30, Fineko/abc.az. The Azerbaijan Export & Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO) will soon begin implementing franchise projects for local brands.

ABC.AZ reports that Tural Hajili, Deputy Executive Director at AZPROMO, stated about this at the Eurasian Franchise Forum in Baku.

According to Hajili, AZPROMO actively participates in the promotion of national products and services abroad, paying special attention to the entry of domestic brands into global markets, supports foreign companies interested in investing, wishing to inform foreign buyers about Azerbaijani products, contact local companies, and collect detailed information about the investment climate of Azerbaijan by providing services. Based on the single window principle: "We are ready to support the export of our national brands as well. The development of the private sector in this direction should be active."

Jamid Movsumov, Chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan Franchise Association, said that it is planned to introduce a preferential loan model for franchising in Azerbaijan: "This will be applied from 2026 as part of an agreement reached with the Business Development Fund under the Ministry of Economy to promote franchising. The measure will make significant contribution to expansion of franchise activities in Azerbaijan, development of entrepreneurship and implementation of new projects."
