October 29, Fineko/abc.az. New corporate structure of OpenAI will allow it to conduct an IPO, which may take place in 2027.

ABC.AZ informs that this was reported by sources of The Wall Street Journal. According to them, discussions on this issue are still preliminary, so the listing may take place later or be canceled.

The day before, the ChatGPT developer announced that company's commercial division would be reformed into public benefit organization OpenAI Group PBC (public benefit corporation). In turn, the non-profit organization, which is now called the OpenAI Foundation, will retain control over the commercial division.
