October 29, Fineko/abc.az. Amazon's cloud structure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), plans to invest $4.89 bn over six years in the construction of new data centers for artificial intelligence in South Korea.

ABC.AZ informs that The Wall Street Journal writes about this.

AWS is cooperating with a local company, SK Group, to build an AI complex in the city of Ulsan. According to SK Group, this data center will become the largest in the country when completed in 2027.

Previously, the American company has already invested $3.9 bn in the economy of South Korea. Thus, the total volume of AWS investments in the country will reach $8.8 bn.
